Silverstone MotorSport UK, the live motorsport show that showcases all categories of national motorsport and which takes place on the 3rd & 4th November 2012, is gearing up to be the ‘must attend’ show of 2012. A Who’s Who of exhibitors from the world of national motorsport, exciting ‘live’ elements and the inaugural “Spirit of Motorsport Awards”, all combine to make this year’s show unmissable.
In addition, Silverstone MotorSport UK has the backing of Silverstone and Go Motorsport and no fewer than 12 key publications from the motorsport and automotive sector - all of whom have made a significant contribution in building awareness for the 2012 event, which will be held at the iconic Silverstone Circuit.
Visitors can sample the action first hand, either on the Stowe circuit with the Silverstone Driving Experience, or in the Go Motorsport kart challenge, where they can battle for a selection of prizes. Silverstone MotorSport UK has teamed up with Silverstone Driving Experiences to offer visitors the chance to receive a discount if they pre-book.
In addition to these exciting driving elements, visitors will be able to enjoy race simulators and even compete in a series of radio control races organised by the British Radio Control Association.
Silverstone MotorSport UK will also play host to more than 100 companies from the world of motorsport. Exhibitors include some of the UK’s largest motorsport championships and key suppliers, and the event will see the announcement of the first “Spirit of Motorsport Awards” winners, who will share a £10,000 prize fund, courtesy of high performance oil and lubricant manufacturer RAVENOL.
Martin Capenhurst comments: “This year’s event is going to be truly outstanding. The move to Silverstone has proved to be a masterstroke, and the addition of the ‘live’ elements has helped to attract more and more exhibitors and also generated a significant number of advanced ticket sales. We have had tremendous promotional support from our exceptional team of event and media partners and Silverstone Radio will also be covering the two day event ‘live’.”
Richard Phillips, Director of Silverstone Circuits, added: “The inaugural Silverstone MotorSport UK event is shaping up to be a fantastic event and provides a brilliant opportunity for enthusiasts and competitors to come together to sample the best of British motorsport.”
Current exhibitors include TrackDriver magazine, Go Motorsport, 360 Motor Racing Club, Motors TV, RAVENOL, British Radio Control Association, Racelogic, Toyo Tires, ES Racing, Demon Tweeks, 750 Motor Club and Fueltopia.
All Motor Racing Club members benefit from a 33% reduction on the admission charge (just £10 instead of the standard on-the-door ticket price of £15) on production of their MSA Licence or club membership. Parking for all show visitors is free.
