£10k prize fund awaits Spirit of Motorsport Award winners

The inaugural Spirit of Motorsport Awards is one of the largest prizes in national motorsport and a £10,000 prize fund awaits the winners, which will be announced at the Silverstone MotorSport UK event, which takes place on 3rd & 4th November 2012 at Silverstone Circuit.

The 2012 Spirit of Motorsport Awards is open to competitors in 3 categories - Karting, Racing and Rallying and the winners will share a selection of prizes worth more than £10,000. The Awards are supported by RAVENOL high performance oils and lubricants.

An enthusiastic Martin Capenhurst said: “This year’s competition is shaping up to be very exciting and the Awards will undoubtedly be one of the highlights of this year’s show. With the support of RAVENOL, this year’s prizes offer a superb opportunity for the winners to set themselves up for a superb season in 2013. With less than 14 days to go to the show, time is running out for competitors to submit their entries, so we are urging competitors to enter now and to ensure they are in with a chance of winning these exceptional prizes.”

The Spirit of Motorsport Awards will be judged by a panel led by experienced racer Mark Hales, BRC Championship Manager Mark Taylor, Carolynn Hoy, organiser of Formula Kart Stars and Silverstone MotorSport UK organiser, Martin Capenhurst.
